European Heritage Days 2018. The art of sharing.
A press conference to introduce the European Heritage Days 2018, was held this morning, Thursday, 20 September, 2018, in the conference room of the Museo archeologico of Cagliari.
The Director of the Polo Museale of Sardinia, Giovanna Damiani, emphasized her great satisfaction for the conspicuous number of operators in the sector who, from the north to the south of the island, adhered to the initiative. Over seventy projects will enrich the weekend of Saturday 22, and Sunday 23 September, 2018, with a rich calendar of events such as, guided tours among the most evocative archaeological and naturalistic sites, exhibitions, scientific research, concerts, and extended opening hours of the most important museums in Sardinia. It will be a great cultural festival.
The Director reiterated also on the importance of “networking” among Institutions, pointing out how it is possible to increase the population’s awareness of the cultural heritage through teamwork, active participation, cultural and civil growth.
