From the pictorial Retabli of Sardinia to the Vitruvian man of Leonardo da Vinci.

Leonardo and the pictorial retabli of Sardinia. The paintings as the key to interpretation of the mysteries of the Vitruvian man of Leonardo da Vinci and of the most ancient Divine Proportion. The unique form and the constant repetition of their metrical and compositional scansion offer us developments of unexplored implications and inevitable clamor. Giovanna Damiani, Director of the Polo Museale of Sardinia, and Roberto Concas, art historian and author of the research, will disclose the real unexpected result during the conference titled From the pictorial retabli of Sardinia to the Vitruvian man of Leonardo da Vinci. The event will take place during a cocktail evening on Thursday 19 December, 2019, at 18.00, in the conference room of the Pinacoteca Nazionale of Cagliari, in the Cittadella dei Musei.

The research lasted almost thirty years and allowed the rediscovery of the initial formula of an ancient code. Among hundreds of verified works, even by great artists, the famous drawing of the Vitruvian man, examined with meticulous attention, unveils the mysteries of a possible deceit plotted by Leonardo da Vinci, and kept hidden to all for five centuries.

The meeting will allow an in-depth analysis with much unpublished information that will also illustrate the genesis, the results, the developments, and the future objectives.
