Festival Inaudita 2019. Concert at the Pinacoteca Nazionale of Cagliari.
The Polo Museale of Sardinia, in collaboration with the Conservatorio di Musica “G.P. Da Palestrina” of Cagliari and the Associazione Ensemble Spaziomusica Cagliari is presenting the fourth of ten concerts that will take place from 9 March to 8 June, 2019. The concert will be in the conference room of the Pinacoteca Nazionale of Cagliari, in the Cittadella dei Musei, on Saturday 6 April, 2019, at 18.00.
Antonia Giulia Maxia, art historian, is presenting the Ancona of San Cristoforo. Due to its location, this artwork dominates and accompanies the public during the concerts. The work of considerable size stands out for its background of cold tones, typical of the late Mannerism style, and was attributed to the painter from Campania Decio Tramontano, active artist during the late sixteenth century. The painting was transferred from the church of Cagliari of San Francesco of Stampace, and its presence on the Island is the witness of the heavy and fruitful commercial and cultural exchanges with the territories of the Spanish Crown.
During the evening, the flute duo of Ji Young Lee and Enrico Di Felice will execute music by W.A. Mozart.
