Grado Zero, a work by Wanda Nazzari.

The contemporary work of Wanda Nazzari becomes part of the collection of the Pinacoteca nazionale of Cagliari. The wooden sculpture has a strong visual impact and was created by the artist after experiencing great emotions during her visit to the Museo Ebraico of Daniel Libeskin in Berlin.

The Director of the Polo Museale of Sardinia,  Giovanna Damiani,  is presenting an event titled Grado Zero, a work by Wanda Nazzari. The event will take place inside the halls of the Pinacoteca Nazionale of Cagliari on Thursday 24 October, 2019, from 9.30 to 19.30.

The sculpture Grado Zero was created in 2014 by the well-known and appreciated, both in Italy and abroad, Sardinian artist. It confirms itself full of symbolism and profound meanings. The work will be included in the art collection of the Pinacoteca Nazionale, and will be exhibited and presented to the general public for the very first time. Throughout the day, there will be lectures by  numerous speakers who will illustrate and analyze the many aspects of the art of the Maestra Wanda Nazzari. The event includes a rich program between art, poetry, dancing, and music.
