Wednesdays Virtual Archaeology.

A virtual voyage of the most evocative places of Sardinia using new technologies.

The Museo Archeologico Nazionale of Cagliari is organizing Wednesdays Virtual Archaeology in the museum study room. Afeter great sucess in October, the series of events will go on 6 November 2019, at 16.30 and will be repeated on Wednesday afternoons of the 13th, the 20th, and the 27rd of November.

The virtual tour will guide the visitors through the most important archaeological sites of Sardinia like Su Nuraxi of Barumini, Su Mulinu of Villanovafranca, Sa Sedda ‘e sos Carros of Oliena, and the virtual reconstruction of the Roman Nora. Starting at 16.30, every fifteen minutes, visitors will wear the VR viewers and with the aid of the guide and the information provided by the specialized staff of the Museum, will begin the virtual journey.

Places to participate in the virtual archaeological tour are limited, therefore reservations are necessary to guarantee the visors use. The email address for reservations is:
