A workshop and guided tour will take place at the Spazio San Pancrazio to celebrate the International Women’s Day on Thursday 8 March, 2018.
Colors, embroidery, shapes, and meanings.
On the occasion of the International Women’s Day, at the Spazio San Pancrazio, women are celebrated for their knowledge, and the mastery of the Sardinian artisan creations, through the rediscovery of the woven and embroidered works from the ethnographic collection of the Pinacoteca. In particular, flower decorative motifs of different shapes and colors are the focus of the exhibition. The reproduction of mimosas and other types of flowers using different materials is the theme. The Anffas association of Cagliari is organizing the workshop for and with the children from the 4th grade, class A of the Santa Caterina school of Cagliari. The mimosa, a flower that seems so delicate but in reality is strong and vital, is the symbol of this day.
