Roberto Sirigu, author of the preface of the text, and Manuela Puddu, archaeologist responsible for the museum, are presenting the book written by Roberto Casti titled The stele of Nora. The event will take place on Wednesday 27 November, 2019, at 17.00, in the study room of the Museo Archeologico Nazionale of Cagliari.
Roberto Casti, after a decade of collecting work about ongoing studies since 1774 on the stele of Nora, synthesized the history of one of the most important artifacts of ancient Sardinia, currently exhibited inside the Museo Archeologico nazionale of Cagliari, collecting the many translations that throughout the centuries challenged the curiosity of the researchers. The author proposes a new interpretation that will become the object of extensive and interesting debates in the scientific scene.
