On the occasion of the Holy Easter, Sunday 21 April, 2019, the Pinacoteca nazionale of Sassari is disclosing to the public for the first time, three art pieces of great value: La Deposizione dalla Croce – The Deposition from the Cross, a small marble bas-rilief by an unknown artist of the fifteenth century; La Sacra Sindone tenuta da Prelati – The Sacred Shroud held by Prelates, from the sixteenth century, and L’Ultima Cena – The Last Supper, a wooden board with a bas-rilief in polychrome gold from the seventeenth century.
