Concert of the Philharmonic Choir of Sardinia and workshop Didd’arte 2020.

On Sunday 17 November, at 11.00, the Pinacoteca nazionale of  Sassari is opening its doors to the Philharmonic Choir of Sardinia for the exhibition Sassari città delle arti figurative e della musica – Gran Galà della Lirica . The choir, directed by the maestro Gianni Mastino and accompanied by the pianist Kseniia Nikitina, will perform pieces by some of the great authors of the classical music of the Italian nineteenth century.

An educational workshop for the project “Didd’arte 2020” will be presented by the artist Pier Domenico Margri at 18.00. He will share his experience with a demonstration test. It will be possible to assist in the analyses of the different techniques and art forms. Particular attention will be given to the engraving techniques focusing on the xylography, utilized by the great maestros of the Sardinian twentieth century.

Entrance at the Pinacoteca will be free of charge for the entire day.
