The Museo Archeologico Nazionale and the organizing and scientific committee “White Rocks Bay Association” of the exhibition Woman or Goddess, is planning an empirical meeting of historical emotional disclosure with the writer and researcher Cristina Muntoni titled Stars, snakes and pigs. Words and symbols of the passage between female sacredness and its demonization, for Thursday 9 May, 2019, at 17.30.
The meeting will begin with a seminar by Riccardo Cicilloni and Giacomo Paglietti, that will present in preview the excavation data of the discovery of bone fragments of very small pigs, maybe linked to the fertilization rituals at the Nuraghe Su Nuraxi of Barumini. The seminar will be followed by Abracadabra, a workshop of ritual writing by Cristina Muntoni in collaboration with Roberto Konserva, composer and performer of ancestral sound vibrations.
All participants to the last programmed event of the meetings related to the exhibition Woman or Goddess, will receive a sacred confection offered by the chef Gabriella Narciso of the Giardino dei Piaceri.
