The house of Garibaldi in Caprera. Catalogue of Garibaldi’s Compendium

Edited by Laura Donati

Paolo Sorba Editore, 2015

The volume provides a detailed description of the relics kept in Garibaldi’s house in Caprera. It tells about the private and public life of the General and, through the description of the objects displayed, recalls his military enterprises. The relics are also important to reconstruct episodes of the history of Italy. Furthermore, the catalogue is a precious and exclusive document on the activities led by Garibaldi, on matters relating to the way he run his farm and on the innovative technologies he devised, and which occupied his days. A new Garibaldi is discovered, who devotes attention to the cultural life of his house and loves music and art.
