This will be a wonderful opportunity to experience Caprera and the beautiful natural scenery that is the Compendio Garibaldino, one of the seven locations of the project Historical gardens of Sardinia.
During the 9th and 10th of June, 2018 it will be possible to walk through paths of exceptional beauty, and to participate to scheduled events:
- Caprera: projections from the past. The history of a landscape that is protected and transformed
The images and the narrating voice focus on the most significant events that have affected the island that Garibaldi chose for his home, against the unceasing interaction between nature and man. Through the comparison with the most recent images one notices how the Hero of Two Worlds, wisely transformed the land into a modern farm for the sustainment of his family. A timeless past that relives through the illustrations of the English artist Frank Vizetelly from the prestigious The Illustrated London News (1861).

Every child can make various paper sheets either white, colored, with different color sides, with decorative elements of natural origin such as leaves and flower petals picked up from the ground after falling from the plant.
