Festival Inaudita. Autumn concerts 2018. Grey Scales: the 20th century between form and improvisation.

This is the third and last scheduled appointment of the Festival Inaudita. Autumn Concerts 2018, dedicated to jazz music. The event will take place at the Pinacoteca Nazionale, within the Cittadella dei Musei of Cagliari, on 7 December, 2018, at 18.00.

Musical atmospheres will be experienced through the codes and the improvisations that characterized the America of the early Twenties. Jazz is a kind of music with strong references and suggestions, and is linked to the art display of the Pinacoteca. In Sardinia, the early 20^th century generated forms and colors with which the art narrate a continuously evolving world.

Joe Murgia will play the saxophone, and Salvatore Spano will play the piano.

Roberto Concas, director of the Pinacoteca Nazionale, will comment on some images of Sardinian artists of the 20^th century.
